Journal introduction:
Criticon is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to the literature and history of Spain’s Golden Age (from the Catholic Monarchs to the Bourbon dynasty). Published three times annually by Presses Universitaires du Midi (PUM) in Toulouse, France, the journal features a mix of monographic and general thematic issues, each approximately 200 pages. It prioritizes rigorous scholarly work, including textual criticism, critical editions, intertextual studies, and erudite research in the tradition of Spanish filología. Welcoming both emerging researchers and established scholars, it fosters interdisciplinary dialogue while maintaining a focus on the cultural and literary contexts of early modern Spain. All contributions are in Spanish.
