Journal introduction:

The Journal of Semitic Studies was founded in 1955 and since then has established a reputation as one of the leading international academic journals in its field. The main focus of the journal is research on the Semitic languages of all periods. The editors invite the submission of papers on any aspect of Semitic languages. These may include studies of individual languages or comparative studies, synchronic or diachronic, based on spoken or written sources. The edition of short texts, such as inscriptions and documents, will also be welcome, especially if the articles engage with aspects of the language of the texts.
